Obikano Belt Buying Guide
In Jiu Jitsu, belts are worn to symbolize your skill level, experience level, where you are at in your journey. Our high-quality Obikano belts are made in a variety of different sizes, in ranks blue through black for the competitor and the hobbyist alike.
It is integral that when shopping for your Jiu Jitsu you find the size that is the best fit for you.
IBJJF regulations require that competitors tie their belt twice around with a double knot. Once this is done the ends of the belt should hang 8-12 inches on each side. Thus making the ends clearly visible but not long enough to obstruct movement. A measurement slightly above the waist should be taken to ensure you are ordering the correct size.
